To resolve the problem of the lack of understanding of holiness in one's spiritual journey, a qualitative and quantitative research based on the case study method was used to triangulate the multiple data by interlinking similar themes. The objective of the research develops an innovative theory guiding pastors to preach to their congregation for spiritual advancement.   These findings provided valuable insight to the inner spiritual need of the local church body. The study resulted in the development of a spiritual transformational theory. One hypothesis of this research was that there was a relationship between the level of risk and the level of trust which are contributing factors empowering Airmen. The second hypothesis was that there was a relationship between the level of respect and the level of leadership which are contributing factors empowering Airmen. Men were surveyed to identify their father's masculine influence upon their moral behavior. The author concluded that the fear of God was important to the development of the son's biblical masculine identity. The study employed a qualitative research design and a semi-structured interview protocol, utilizing interviews with six pastors. The researcher found that a christocentric worldview was comprised of the unified story of God's redemption of his creation, motivation and empowerment by Christ in the Christian life, transformation at the heart level, and participation in God's restoration of man's relationship with God, others, and the creation. In addition, preaching as a communication method is questioned pragmatically, but trusted in a spiritual sense. Also, primary hindrances include challenges of alternative worldview stories, fragmentary hearing, and disconnected preachers. A copy of the resource, integrating anger management theories and praxis with spiritual formation theories and praxis, was presented to an expert panel comprised of pastors and Christian counselors, along with a questionnaire by which evaluations were made of the resource measuring six goal characteristics. Analysis of the results clearly indicates that the six intended goals were reasonably achieved, especially the goal of fostering spiritual formation. Nine women participated in the project. The eight week process included pre and posttest surveys. Qualitative and quantitative analysis were used to determine impact. Results indicate that participants gained significant awareness of their healing process and experienced measurable positive impact on their identity in Christ and on their experience of heart to heart encounter with Jesus. This study utilized a qualitative research design, in which seven pastors were interviewed based on a semi-structured interview format. The literature review and analysis of the seven interviews revealed that developing spiritual shepherds is a long-term process of helping people discern God's calling to this role, and helping them develop the competencies and character required.
