The study includes a comparative analysis of the psychology of Carl Jung and the spirituality of John of the Cross.  The integrative approach of the model incorporates the intrapsychic, interpersonal, and transpersonal dimensions of the human personality.  The model can be adapted for use in different ministries, although this project focuses on the ministry of pastoral counseling.  The qualitative study yielded some initial insights that are tentative and inconclusive. The author discovers that adult experiential education for sacramental healing ministries provides a link between the ministry of Jesus, the early church and the contemporary situation.
