Church life was differentiated into three levels: Pastorally, Relationally, and Congregationally. A group of people were interviewed who had received some type of healing and their lives and were asked to share how the church community helped in the healing process. The project goals were evaluated using a Likert scale and qualitative measurements. The assessment tool contained open and closed-ended questions. A panel of experts served a evaluators for the eight week Forgiveness curriculum. The content focus of the curriculum was on core longings (the blessings of God) and emotional healing. At the conclusion of the nine week curriculum, the participants completed a post assessment questionnaire to measure their increased understanding and awareness of core longings. Participants completed a quantitative pre-test and quantitative post-test, including qualitative questions. The results of the study indicated that the Healing Care Groups Curriculum had a positive impact on the spiritual renewal of the participants. Some people who receive healing for emotional hurts through inner healing prayer relapse into past wounding behaviors. The effort relapse is first on the one who relapses. The second effect is on the healing community, especially the people in healing ministry who pray with them.
