Sometimes, larger buildings become an unsustainable burden, to the detriment of mission and ministry of a congregation. This project uses the template of the Tabernacle to lead a congregation through a simulated wilderness experience, to worship in a neutral space. This process gives insight into a congregation's relationship with a building that has become unsustainable. The resulting exploration allows them to prepare to vacate their building, while revitalizing their ministry. The author worked at a major urban hospital to give spiritual care to palliative care outpatients. The author also surveyed fourteen area palliative care organizations to see how they provide spiritual care for this population. The author conducted a project on the effect of a 12-week cognitive behavioral intervention on Seventh-day Adventist Church members that helps them properly and biblically discern God's communication with them in a way that increases their intimacy with God and avoids the extremes of hearing God's voice in other voices or not hearing from God at all. A mixed methods approach was used and the results showed a greater level of attachment to God was achieved. The project was designed to impact the participants' spiritual formation by teaching them how to practice ancient incarnational disciplines in both their personal context and in their daily routines. The results of the project revealed that when participants practiced the specific incarnational disciplines they experienced a greater degree of spiritual formation. We believe God has equipped us to do work to this end, through local churches. What is often lacking is awareness of the divine call to specific areas of service. I used individual interviews, asking people about their experience in service and any sense of divine guidance, and followed each interview with an online assessment of spiritual gifts. There clearly is a correlation between service, divine guidance, and spiritual gifts. Using Everett Roger's attributes of innovations in a series of focus groups and semi-guided interviews, this study explores the theology and best practices of an Anglo church experiencing growth through integrated Hispanic ministry. A survey of Hispanic ministry models is offered highlighting the integrated model. Teaching and training participants (twenty-five adult Christ-followers at Foundation Church, Sapulpa, Oklahoma) over a twelve-week period to pray and apply scriptures specifically addressing worry reduction and trusting in God throughout their day proved successful.
