A strategic planning team, consisting of lay personnel, was enlisted and instructed in the basic principles of strategic planning.  Utilizing these principles, theproject director led the team in developing a strategy for continuing family ministry at Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church.  This strategy was designed to meet the identified family life needs of the congregation. Examination of key biblical understandings of leadership and administration, as well as SPM's underlying assumptions, support its theological appropriateness. These strategies were implemented in one of the selected five churches.
