The research became a case study which assumed an organic nature reflective of both disciple-making and the urban setting. This research describes the nature of disciple-making, the urban context, and the divine interaction with both. The non-deterministic nature of the urban context and the disciple-making process is evident throughout this study. The description and analysis of this complex interaction are presented both on a conceptual and practical level. The conceptual level is presented in the review of literature and biblical theology. The researcher utilized a mixed methods approach to collect ethnographic data of Christian efforts evangelizing older people by the three groups of Christians. The idea of a 'self-theologizing' church is biblically grounded, yet it is still an unfamiliar practice for evangelicals.  This project involved restructuring an undergraduate mission theology course to familiarize students with the need for theological contextualization, to give the experience in facilitating a 'hermeneutical community,' and to guide them in devising a personal theology of mission. Traits of the generations are discovered through literature review and field research, using the grounded theory method. Second, mission is described with eight viral factors that caused the spontaneous expansion of the early church. Third, the researcher created strategies to maximize the traits of the generations by reviewing which traits are leverageable or prohibitive related to the viral factors. Generational entelechies are discovered and generational cultures are defined to build a whole-church multi-generational missional culture.  A change process that deals with serious multi-generational conflict is also
