Surveys of the congregations reveal that personal friendship is the best way to communicate and that printed materials--tracts and books--are the most useful evangelistic media. These Bangkok churches overcome hindrances in communicating difficult concepts by illustrating them with personal testimonies. These churches teach members to evangelize by training them one-on-one in telephone and house visitations. Six members of the congregation organized a five-year program of support for the medical mission, beginning with hypertension screening for 300 persons over a six-month period and supplies of medication for persons diagnosed by the program. The project is theologically grounded in the holistic and ecclesiological nature of the mission of God.
