The idea of a 'self-theologizing' church is biblically grounded, yet it is still an unfamiliar practice for evangelicals.  This project involved restructuring an undergraduate mission theology course to familiarize students with the need for theological contextualization, to give the experience in facilitating a 'hermeneutical community,' and to guide them in devising a personal theology of mission. Traits of the generations are discovered through literature review and field research, using the grounded theory method. Second, mission is described with eight viral factors that caused the spontaneous expansion of the early church. Third, the researcher created strategies to maximize the traits of the generations by reviewing which traits are leverageable or prohibitive related to the viral factors. Generational entelechies are discovered and generational cultures are defined to build a whole-church multi-generational missional culture. Then the project director developed a strategy for making disciples among the Extremaduran people group and presented it to key leaders.  Throughout the process, goals were evaluated according to specific standards that will maintain both quality assurance and product assessment. It considers theological research in the area of evangelism and reviews current literature about outreach, focusing on relationships, friendship evangelism, and using recreational settings in outreach. Described are the processes and methods that were used to develop, implement, and evaluate the training of laypeople to become better witnesses in recreational settings. The findings suggest that training for evangelism in recreational settings used in conjunction and the use of such recreational settings used for intentional evangelism help those providing a Christian witness. This project consisted of a major survey of 3044 evangelical believers regarding their background and conversion, and forty-seven in-depth interviews with evangelical believers who were raised exclusively in un-churched homes.
