Army","Supervision"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This ministry project is based on the thesis that a soldier's resiliency is directly affected by the quality of the relationship between the soldier and his immediate supervisor.  The project director coached two team leaders to utilize a new tool for the Army's mandated regular performance counseling.  The supervisors utilized the tool monthly for three cycles.  The supervisory relationship and soldier resiliency after the three iterations was compared to before the project to observe changes. This mentoring model of supervised ministry incorporates increased instruction of both supervisors and students, encouraging guidance within the relationship that gives direction with freedom. In comparison to previous models the guidance and instruction provided in mentoring prove helpful to participant satisfaction. Supervision facilitates the integration of academic and experiential learning.  The historic and contemporary use of supervision as a modality in ministerial, social work, and teacher education was examined.  Experienced ministers and recent ministerial graduates were interviewed regarding their experiences of being supervised during preordination education. It includes a critical, historical analysis of supervision within the Pentecostal context.  The author concludes that ministry supervision is undergirded by three confessional elements which legitimate Pentecostal ministry.  The three confessional elements which serve as an interpretive framework for the educational design of Pentecostal supervision are 1) supervision as covenant; 2) supervision as character; and 3) supervision as commission. The purpose of the project was to explore the practicum to determine its significance for the spiritual formation of seminarians, and to learn something about developing leadership for such a practicum.  The plan was to design a practicum in such a way as to allow the participants to discover God in their lives; to be in touch with and express their own spirituality. The methodology is feminist and therefore attempts to break free from traditional understandings of research. The focus of the research is on the women's experience of ministry and supervision and their understanding of spirituality and their vision of ministry with women.  The insights from this study include the effect of patriarchal structures on women, the lack of skills of critical analysis to identify patriarchal reality, the minimal support and nurture for feminists' spirituality, and the limited provision of opportunity to discuss theology from a feminist perspective.
