Throughout church history, Christians have moved into intentional communities seeking to more fully experience and live out the gospel in their daily lives. Interviews were conducted with persons currently living in intentional Christian community, discovering commitment to conflict resolution being key to their health. Using Bowen Family Systems Theory and Luther's Catechisms, pastoral leaders will be aided in facilitating positive change in the congregation including a deeper Lutheran identity and communal self-awareness in the face of conflict.
