As a faculty member of this college, the purpose of this study was to develop my understanding of holistic education, working in collaboration with faculty and students at Providence University College and faculty at a select group of sister schools outside of Providence. This study involved interviewing sixteen Christian higher education faculty members and conducting seven focus groups involving the student leadership and faculty of Providence University College and Seminary. Data was collected by researching biblical, historical, theological, and secular literature on discipleship and mentorship. A quantitative and a qualitative study showed a definite correlation exists between perceived effectiveness of the curriculum and the students' perceptions of their teachers' performances.
