The project explores the theological implications of Jung's effort to integrate the light and dark, the masculine and feminine, the conscious and unconscious aspects of the God image in treating the problem of evil. The project demonstrates how a monotheistic understanding of God might temper the dualistic tendency in the Christian tradition and thus bring wholeness to the individual's understanding of God, self, and community.
