This project ministry consisted of introducing a program of spiritual formation in the curriculum of West Africa Advanced Baptist School of Theology.  The project involved participation of graduating seminary students in a course on Christian growth and practice of spiritual disciplines. Participants reflected on their relationship with God and committee to maintaining a growing relationship with God. The model was designed to teach students in the Professional and Graduate Studies Division the importance of, and how to implement the practice of, the personal spiritual disciplines in their lives. Twelve members of the Cornerstone academic community reviewed the model and evaluated the effectiveness and appropriateness of the textbooks, individual assignments, learning team assignments and in-class activities. The desired result was to equip those field mentors who have been trained in the principles of ministry supervision to resolve conflict between themselves and the student interns they supervise. The program involved twelve hours of training in both theoretical models and practical application.
