The purpose of my project is to identify practices that will equip and empower the church to resist idolatry and live in faithfulness toward God. These moments we might call altar moments. During the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries these moments were put into a strategy of evangelism. Revivalists and crusade evangelists, during this period, used the invitation to an altar of prayer as a way to solidify new found faith. During the Twenty-first Century, the altar call has fallen into disuse. Given the relative scarcity of this pastoral work the project began with a defense of its propriety. The purpose of this study was to explore how Christians apply sermons in the workplace. This study was a qualitative study, employing a semi-structured interview protocol with eight individuals employed in a variety of profession. Data was analyzed using the constant-comparative method. The project director then will explore existing bivocational and smaller membership church ministries and models in order to provide the strategic planning team with a basis from which to develop the conferences hosted by the Caskey Center.  Following, the project director will develop a strategy for the purpose of providing conferences for the targeted ministers. God models collaboration through the Holy Trinity. Many in healthcare and education have discovered the benefits of collaboration. The researcher explored the principles behind effective collaborative ministry on multi-point charges in the Peninsula-Delaware Conference of the United Methodist Church. Case studies were conducted on three Untied Methodist Charges showing evidence of effective collaborative ministry and mission. The researcher gathered information through interviews with pastors and laity, multiple site-visits, church-produced documents, and open-ended questionnaires.
