It proposed to examine how men and women within a congregation perceived women's role in an effort to identify, clarify, and change attitudes for mutual ministry.  The vehicle for this research used a dialectical methodology of combined biblical studies and social science methods.  The expectation of the hypothesis was that significant changes in attitudes would take place. The purpose of the practicum was to provide a setting in which counseling skills would be improved and in which awareness of women's experiences would be increased.  The project provided an opportunity for reporting the practicum findings and incorporating this information into theological reflection.
