Following are some of the major theological issues from the text: Christology, the Law, faith and deeds, and spiritual growth. The process aimed to assist principals in Catholic education to identify their own faith development needs and to clarify their ministry in today's cultural climate. The process was developed with seven principals in the Halton Roman Catholic School Board (Burlington, Ontario) from June 1990 to June 1991. The research is qualitative and the results indicate that small base community experience of theological reflection has deep ministerial significance for leaders in Catholic education, and that the process developed is an effective adaptable, adult learning model for religious education."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129084314517504,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:10:05.079Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T03:12:19Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:54:45Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"5fe39fc8-cd9f-41e1-9ada-e9fb9923caf1","accessControl_ssim":["ae1c4934-05f5-4301-a264-5aa8befc1d5b"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["A study of expository preaching in the context of the Korean church: toward an effective theology of expository preaching"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T03:12:18Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:56:39Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["a70c5281-1c43-4be2-9ecc-eede7ea1ef0e"],"hasLease_ssim":["a3de43d3-985f-49d5-8e11-229247179daa"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Claremont School of Theology"],"advisor_tesim":["J Irwin Trotter"],"year_tesim":["1993"],"location_tesim":["Korea"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Yeo-am Yoon"],"publisher_tesim":["Claremont School of Theology"],"subject_tesim":["Expository preaching","Theology"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["From the early period of the 1960s, the Korean church began to be polarized into two rival camps: the conservative evangelical and the liberal ecumenical. The preachers of the conservative side have laid their emphasis upon biblicalism, fundamentalism, evangelicalism, and personal salvation, whereas those of the liberal ecumenical group have stressed liberation, ecumenism, syncretism, and social redemption. This project attempts to discover the possibility of combining evangelical preaching with liberal preaching in the Korean church. Expository preaching is presented as an effective model which creatively synthesizes evangelical preaching and liberating preaching. Expository preaching attempts to bind together the Word of God and the Incarnate Word. It insists that a preacher ought to be only not the proclaimer but also the doer of what he/she proclaimed. The project concludes with some recommendations and a proposal for the future direction of the Korean pulpit."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Claremont School of Theology"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e7e2d3cb-fc51-4ba5-a7fd-d43f3f8c150b"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791131897228689408,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:54:47.683Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T03:09:27Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:34:38Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"fcb5348b-9bf1-4d4b-b0cf-6dfc0057b325","accessControl_ssim":["172e2025-6176-487e-90e7-477a171f07ba"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["An exploration of AA's twelve step spirituality of communicating an understanding of law and gospel to recovering Lutheran alcoholics"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T03:09:27Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T05:21:21Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["8986cc14-9688-438b-9131-45990d9ea163"],"hasLease_ssim":["1ff48f70-13ba-488a-b443-c6cfb8740c03"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis, MO)"],"advisor_tesim":["Charles T Knippel"],"year_tesim":["1993"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Gary W Galen"],"keyword_tesim":["Theology, Lutheran"],"publisher_tesim":["Concordia Seminary (MO)"],"subject_tesim":["Law and gospel","Theology","Alcoholics Anonymous"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This study addresses presenting law and gospel to recovering Lutheran alcoholics in the Twelve Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Members of the team learned: a universal model of human cultures is essential to understanding each other; transcultural metaphors of the church are helpful for spiritual insights; and people in both cultures must respect, strengthen, modify and amalgamate their unique cultural realities to generate Christian formation."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["McCormick Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["7eda0323-a6d9-4fe2-807a-22620dd389a5"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791128427359633408,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:59:38.558Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":7,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Resource Type"},{"name":"creator_sim","items":[{"value":"Gary W Galen","hits":1,"label":"Gary W Galen"},{"value":"George M Stulac","hits":1,"label":"George M Stulac"},{"value":"Gregory K Holladay","hits":1,"label":"Gregory K Holladay"},{"value":"John Crossley Morgan","hits":1,"label":"John Crossley Morgan"},{"value":"Mary H MacKinnon","hits":1,"label":"Mary H MacKinnon"},{"value":"Robert C Malcolm","hits":1,"label":"Robert C Malcolm"}],"label":"Creator Sim"},{"name":"contributor_sim","items":[],"label":"Contributor"},{"name":"keyword_sim","items":[{"value":"Reflection (Theology)","hits":1,"label":"Reflection (Theology)"},{"value":"Theology, Lutheran","hits":1,"label":"Theology, Lutheran"},{"value":"Theology, Reformed","hits":1,"label":"Theology, Reformed"},{"value":"Theology, Unitarian","hits":1,"label":"Theology, Unitarian"}],"label":"Keyword"},{"name":"subject_sim","items":[{"value":"Theology","hits":7,"label":"Theology"},{"value":"Expository preaching","hits":2,"label":"Expository preaching"},{"value":"Alcoholics Anonymous","hits":1,"label":"Alcoholics Anonymous"},{"value":"Bible.
