This dissertation takes a thorough look at Romans 6:1-14 in order to prepare a homiletic outline from which a sermon series is developed. Paul's situation, purpose for writing, and flow of thought are analyzed, and the verses are then studied in the original language. In Luke 24, Jesus makes clear that all the Old Testament testifies to him. There are hints throughout Scripture that point toward a Grand Story, rather than disconnected, individual stories. The author responded and asserted that evangelization among the Wasukuma requires an inculturation process which engages dialogue between the gospel and the culture. Through utilization of the practical theology method and qualitative research methods, the author correlated the Christian tradition, theological scholarship, the lived experiences of the people, and his experience in ministry, and proposed a liturgical inculturation of the eucharistic celebration. To answer this question the study followed a qualitative research method, utilizing semi-structured interviews with six theologians, analyzed in a constant comparative method. This study applied a model of heaven under two categories: the spiritual vision model and the new creation model. The research explored the ongoing role of Platonism, Dispensationalism and Fundamentalism in furthering the popular portrayal of the spiritual vision model of heaven.
