In addition, the author studied John Wesley's movement of revival and his practice of love, and discussed the influence on personal and social holiness through it. Next, the author practiced a project called 'Diakonia Training School' for five weeks for ten members of Beautiful Church. All of the participants experienced many changes in their personal faith and the community of faith through the training. However, many in today's society claim to be Christians, but seem to put forth little effort to actually obey Him. The praxis director led a discipleship seminar, which utilized the teaching and practice of the spiritual disciplines, to cultivate more obedient disciples. As a whole, the participants experienced greater levels of perceived spiritual growth while participating in the practice of the spiritual disciplines.
