The hermeneutical process was taken from Paul Ricouer and the theology of stewardship was developed in reaction to Karl Barth's concept of 'true growth' in the community of faith.  A seminar based upon the shared Christian praxis approach was developed.  The seminar was held at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Calumet, Oklahoma. It consisted of lectures and written activities.  The seminar participants gained a new understanding of stewardship which was used to project avenues of action. The report also discusses the rationale for lay involvement in the local church. The field experiment involved a pre-test of the congregation's understanding of Pauline theology, an intervention of twelve dialogic sermons on six Pauline metaphors, and a post-test to measure the results of the intervening variable.  Dialogic preaching as used in the project combined elements of inductive narrative and indirect preaching. The author researched Wesley's sermons, diary, letters and treatises, and read several textbooks on liberation theology, to discover similarities and contrasts. The project then comments upon Australian cultural traits and analyzes a survey circulated in the presbytery of the central west aimed at discovering what people think about shared ministries.  Theological reflection analyzes ministry in a secular society and is illustrated by pen pictures and case studies. The project resulted in a far-reaching proposal for renewal of structure and strategy for the Presbyterian Church of Korea, some of which is being adopted at present.  The table of contents are: 1. the situation confronted by the Korean Church; 2. the theology of mission and Korean theological thoughts; 3. a responding mission community; 4. the Presbyterian Church of Korea's mission strategy as shown in survey results; and 5. mission strategy and plans for church renewal. The centers of value, images of power and master narratives of Harvard Business School students were gathered and analyzed.  The results were presented to a treatment group.  The control group had no data.  They engaged in faith discussions and adminstered semantic differential scales. A case presentation is utilized to allow an interpretation of theological and psychological constructs.  Specific conclusions and implications are drawn for pastoral care, theological education, church ministry and lay application.
