'The wheel of spiritual experience,' based on the spirituality typology proposed by Urban T Holmes in his book, A History of Christian Spirituality, was developed and tested.  Results show that the instrument is helpful in three ways. Spiritual well-being is defined as Christlikeness related to mankind as created in the image of God.  The eight categories of Christian maturity measured by the Religious Status Inventory, developed at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology, further refine the definition of spiritual well-being.
