The curriculum was tested with a class for new members in Peoples Congregational United Church of Christ in Washington, D.C. A team of laity and clergy studied worship together.  They also surveyed their congregation regarding religious roots, beliefs and expectations about worship.  The team encouraged congregational participation in and response to liturgical renewal. They wrote collects and examined, tested and edited liturgies of the United Church of Christ and other Reformed communions. After establishing a PPRC in a local church and identifying the need for a training process, such a process was developed. Four churches in Penn Northeast Conference, UCC, agreed to go through the process to test its effectiveness and each church evaluated the process.  The project showed the process worked.
