These teams recover the rightful work of the laity and develop a continuous quality model of planning and implementing worship. Participants come to the training with an understanding that worship is not the sole domain of 'professionals' and depart with a desire to lead in reclaiming the 'work of the people.' Data gathered by survey were processed with analysis of variance and a regression equation.  The independent variable was the pastoral succession rate and the dependent variables for church growth were average Sunday school attendance, average worship attendance, average professions of faith, and average annual payout of apportionments. Will they be able to live more consistently as Christian disciples in the world? This project seeks to answer these questions a pretest/posttest questionnaire administered to 68 laypersons.  The experimental group of 34 persons received six hours of theological instruction. The control group of 34 persons received no instruction.
