The project developed six different models for the telling of: 1) each person's pilgrimage of faith and 2) the Christ story.  The participants experienced each method and selected those sections that applied to their own experience, theology and conversational style.  With these selections each person designed his or her own method of faith-sharing.  The goal was to develop a way of sharing the faith that was natural and comfortable for each person. The author believes faithful Christian witness is linked in a bilateral relationship to spiritual growth.  He explores the themes of sanctification and witness primarily from the perspective of his Wesleyan heritage.  The paper describes an eight week course, a many faceted, several month program and a network of small groups within a 700 member congregation. For them, the prevailing 'born again' model does not express their personal faith experience.  This project prepared a study which used a narrative approach to explore the faith stories of several New Testament characters and the course participants themselves.  Findings indicated that participants were uncomfortable telling their faith stories before the course.  After they were given a variety of models of faith experience, the participants were more comfortable telling their stories and realized the importance of doing so. By involving the members in a training program the project sought to achieve in participants: 1. awareness of personal attitudes toward Mormon people; 2. positive attitudinal change in attitudes toward Mormons; 3. greater knowledge of Mormon doctrine and biblical doctrine; and 4. an ability to personally witness to Mormons.  Sedlacek's Situational Attitude Scale was altered and administered to both a project and a control group.  The project group also took a pre-test and post-test on Mormon and biblical doctrine.  The doctrine testing instrument indicated that the third objective was clearly reached. Reporting by the participants indicated that the fourth objective was reached. Though there are Orthodox people in a number of regions of the world, the focus of this project will be on people with Orthodox background who are currently living in Eastern Europe or who have immigrated from countries in Eastern Europe. The project work will begin with extensive research of the beliefs of people of Eastern orthodox background. The research will primarily be conducted through a study of the literature available on Eastern Orthodoxy, but will also involve interviews with current and former Orthodox adherents. Two means will be used to inform and train evangelical Christians in how to witness to people of Eastern Orthodox background. First, the writer will develop, lead, and evaluate a seminar on witnessing to Orthodox people. Seminar participants will be issued a manual that will reinforce the material taught. Second, the writer will revise the manual based on evaluation and feedback from seminar participants. Over one hundred students will travel to Henderson, Nevada, to attend a meeting at Highland Hills Baptist Church called 'Frontliners' as their summer mission trip. The students will be taught eight lessons entitles 'Engage Your World.' The strategy of the study will be to give the students a foundation of the fundamentals of the gospel that will enable them to share their faith with other world religions and cults. The students will be taught a brief history and some of the major beliefs of a select group of religions and cults that will enable them to recognize who they are encountering and how to share with them. A total of twenty-six subjects participated in three weekend seminars. The researcher used a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to determine the results.
