It uncovers a spiritual fellowship which ministers to afflicted people. The Christian church and Alcoholics Anonymous are parallel rehabilitative  and regenerative agencies for helping hurting people.  They each can become more effective through building bridges which combine their spiritual resources in a local congregational setting. Missionaries to Korea used many gospel hymns to spread Christianity. We often  worship without knowing the reasons that underlie the act.  Therefore, we miss the essential point of what worship means for us as individuals within the community of faith.  The project sought to discover as many of these meanings as possible.  Research included reading and the author's reflection on his own experience of worship.
