The author reviewed worship in the Reformed tradition and analyzed current problems in the worship practices of the Korean Presbyterian churches. Data was gathered through survey of literature and questionnaires were given to pastors and lay people to assess their understanding of principles of reformed worship. This project is an historical overview of Seventh-Day Adventist and African religious culture, seeking to extract the principal tenets of each tradition to blend them into a more dynamic worship style that is appealing to the African American community and faithful to the traditions and objectives of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church at the same time.  This project suggests that since traditional Black Seventh-Day Adventist public evangelism typically combines 'the truth' (rationality) with rhythm (emotion), by coloring the weekly worship service with these elements, a dynamic worship style could result. This division has weakened the church's ability to witness for the gospel.  After examining several modern attempts to overcome this problem, the author adopts one of these attempts, the faith community approach, and proposes to use it in a modified form to examine the curriculum of a local congregation. Using an understanding of curriculum advanced by Maria Harris and Susanne Johnson, the author defines curriculum as 'the whole life of the Church as it is manifested in a congregation's worship, instruction, and praxis in explicit, implicit, and unacknowledged ways.'  The author seeks to indicate how a local congregation's life would be impacted by such a definition and understanding to create what the author calls liturgical catechesis. The purpose of the project is to inform the reader of the process whereby one small town ministerial association struggled to understand its ministry, especially in shared worship. Both children and adults were educated on the faith development and worship capabilities of children in the corporate worship setting. Biblical and psychological research was used to formulate sermons, worship manuals, and aids.  A worship committee comprised of adults and children planned and evaluated a corporate worship service to reflect the goals. A holistic approach to worship and education can provide a community of shared memory for an individualistic society.  The worship education models for John Westerhoff, Robert Browning and Roy Reed are examined and critiqued in light of a Reformed theological and historical understanding. Expressional practical is developed as a Reformed model of worship and education which joins participation, symbol, reflection, and formation.  Options for implementation are offered.  An eleven-week course in worship for adults is
