To accomplish these objectives a worship committee was formed.  Twenty percent of the congregation was interviewed and eighteen small groups shaped new patterns of worship.  In addition, several aspects of North Stamford's present worship life were compared to biblical, historical and contemporary expressions of Christian worship life.  After reviewing the data from the interviews and small groups, the worship committee discovered the importance of the traditional way of worshipping God at NSCC. From this, a distinction between the forms of worship and the substance of worship is offered. Following this distinction, new forms are suggested for worship.  Finally, the psychology of change is presented, with strategies offered.  Research is primarily through books contained in bibliography. The methodologies utilized to achieve this goal consisted of council and congregational teaching and training, survey instruments based upon the Likkert format and control group input.  The project revealed that worship council members rated novel worship techniques employed during the project with higher marks than their control group counterparts. A new minister would do well to discover the theological climate as soon as possible and compare the church's theological biases in light of a Reformed theology of worship.  Worship leadership that strives to be theologically inclusive will be based on understanding the object of worship as the God we know as Trinity.  Theological categories based on the Trinity serve as reference points to the different biases worshippers and worship leaders bring to the worship. Over-emphasis on one of the Persons of the Trinity excludes other worshippers who desire to worship God in God's fullness.  Theologically inclusive worship is planned, presented and reviewed by active church members.  A Trinitarian model is used to evaluate the act of ministry. The success of the project indicates that future discussion by the larger church can be helpful in attempts to design and understand congregational biases in worship and a Reformed theology of worship. Worship elements not used on a regular basis and found to be meaningful to baby boomers were labelled as alternative expressions of worship.  Chapter 2 presents biblical principles used as criteria needed to properly evaluate worship experiences. The program caused the participants to analyze their attitudes toward congregational worship and its importance to their lives. Although the basic ethos of the Korean people is exulted spirit, they cannot experience this in such worship.  To overcome this problem, a lively worship model, based on research on the theology and history of Christian worship, and on relevant aspects of Korean culture, was developed and utilized for three months in the Masan Bahn-seok Methodist Church.
