Participants and a control group matched by age and sex were administered a self-inventory test designed to measure change in the four areas investigated in the training event. Both groups were given a pre-test immediately preceding the event and then a post-test two months later.  The four areas in which change was measured are: increased self-awareness and self-acceptance, more effective group building, greater discernment and enabling of individual gifts, increased commitment to ministry.
