The research includes an overview of contemporary Christian feminism, an extensive history of Advent Christian women and their contributions to the denomination, an exegesis of selected Pauline passages concerning women in the church and the practical implications for Advent Christians today. In order to determine why church members volunteer and how they feel about it, a questionnaire was developed and sent out, follow-up interviews conducted, and tentative conclusions reached.  Suggested guidelines and procedures were drawn up and tested.  The results of that testing are reported. A historical analysis of the past twenty years revealed the rapid growth of Korean immigrants in America.  Such rapid growth caused extreme cultural shock and severe family crisis within the traditional Korean family system. By reviewing the literature, offering a critique of Lee's 'The Theology of Change' (a type of Asian theology which uses the same sources as does T'ai-Chi), interviewing T'ai-Chi masters, and providing a pictoral manual of the author doing T'ai-Chi (Y'ang style) as Asian theology, the thesis is realized.
