The project used this dialogical method which involved fourteen persons meeting weekly for four weeks.   In each meeting, pairs of participants privately shared faith stories with each other.  The pairing changed weekly.  The author interviewed each participant after the project. The hypothesis is seen to be espescially appropriate to the small church.  The project describes the activities in the parish aimed at the re-appropriation of its heritage. The three-fold purpose of this project was to engage participants in: 1) reflection upon biblical, theological and experiential dimensions of the Lord's Supper; 2) The planning of communion liturgy; and 3) experiences of 'communion as community' through celebration of the eucharist.  The author led a series of four 'Didactics and Discussion' sessions in which he presented research on communion theology and history that enabled group discussion.  Two eucharistic liturgies were planned and enacted. The project describes five phases of development: 1) the establishment of a congregational unemployment task force; 2) the involvement of the Butler Unemployment Task Force (BUTF); 3) the incorporation of human resource agencies; 4) action taken by the BUTF on behalf of unemployed and underemployed; 5) the incorporation of the wider church. A twelve week educational course for fifteen people develops an understanding of the covenant.  The research indicates that the participants realize the importance of the covenant in the reformed tradition.
