When church leaders are able to respond appropriately to conflict situations, they develop within the congregation a healthy environment conducive to unity.  Ten sessions with project participants, using common language rather than technical terms, involve discussion, role play, and case studies. One of the most significant biblical texts pertaining to discipleship is the Sermon on the Mount. This project assists a small group of Christians to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Sermon on the Mount, demonstrating and applying this knowledge and understanding in their lives. This project produces a study guide to be used by group members in daily family instruction. Weekly learning activities involve entire families in discipleship, supplemented by a sermon series in the local church.
