Responsive residents were surveyed, results were prioritized, and elements of the pastoral care program were modified.  A variety of worship traditions were incorporated in the interdenominational worship service for 60 participating residents and family members.  Some wanted formal Bible study, while others asked for a focused prayer meeting. In a church that had no active men's group and lacked involvement of men in important leadership responsibilities, this project seeks to demonstrate that men, if shown a biblical rationale, can be taught and led to change thinking and behavior.  The project conducted a nine-hour teaching experiment during a weekend, using a control group of 25 men and women and an experimental group of 12 men. The retreat teaching exercise produced significant changes in both thinking and behavior of the 12 men of the experimental group.  Pre-test/post-test documents, when analyzed, offer evidence of these gains in understanding. As a direct result of the experiment, a men's group was formed. The project designs and conducts a workshop that helps participants to externalize their stories of childhood trauma and receive blessing from other group members. Three ministries played equal parts in planning and hosting three cooperative events in one semester.  Simultaneously, each ministry carried out its regular activities.  Pre-test and post-test evaluations, exit interviews, and overall participation showed that cooperation is possible. The project analyzes what it means for FSPAs to be human and spiritual according to six critical concepts of Karl Rahner's theological anthropology, developing criteria to identify the real FSPA founder and founding charism.
