The demographics within the province of Santiago Rodriguez and the Dominican Republic were explored along with current strategies for evangelism and church planting.  A strategy was developed to facilitate a church planting movement among the various population segments of Santiago Rodriguez. This equipping program model included a series of teaching sessions, videos, and exercises to enable participants to minister in chosen contexts as chaplains.  The anticipated result was to be an effective process and the curricula to better enable the volunteers to serve with some basic skills as chaplains throughout Georgia in numerous areas. The strategy included a variety of disciplines that were germane to current ministry as a church planter.  The first step was to explore models and study pertinent demographic data describing the Extremaduran people group.  Then the project director developed a strategy for making disciples among the Extremaduran people group and presented it to key leaders.  Throughout the process, goals were evaluated according to specific standards that will maintain both quality assurance and product assessment. The project included research of the spiritual discipline of prayer and contemporary spiritual formation methodologies.  This research led to the design, administration, and evaluation of training sessions with the selected leaders.  Training included seven weekly didactic sessions on various dimensions of individual and corporate prayer, with additional assignments between sessions.  Participants assessed assigned readings  and maintained a journal throughout the process with assigned entries germane to the subject matter.  An eighth and final session assessed the participants' mastery of the subject matter and summarized the project material. The intent of this process was to equip the participants to lead the embryonic congregation in the arena of prayer, fostering a culture in which prayer is understood, valued, and practiced. The list resulting from this research became the basis for developing a strategy for making disciples for First Baptist Church, Wauchula.  Upon completion, the strategy was approved by church staff and the strategy-development team. Familt Systems Theory is an avenue whereby the power of Jesus can be experienced. Conflict itself is only a part of the picture; equally important is the management of conflict. This project collects information from the field through district presidents within the Lutheran Church -- Missouri Synod (LCMS) along with consultants who assist congregations and church organizations that find themselves in conflict. Combining God's Word with an outside source for help provides a church with a resource to help reconcile relationships and resolve conflicts that may not be resolvable using internal procedures. The group of parents received workshop materials, sample curriculum to be taught at home, and instructions on how to develop spiritual disciplines. The training materials were introduced in a workshop format spanning the course of several weeks. The first session contained the biblical and theological rationale for goal setting and planning.  Sessions two and three explored definitions, key principles, and processes of goal setting.  Session four examined planning programs and events from stated goals.  Session five included an explanation of the purpose statement of Woodridge Baptist Church from the pastor and participants who write actual goals for their ministry area.
