The sessions were taught from the text of Matt. 4:18-20, 1 Cor. 12:4-6, 2 Tim. 2:1-7, Eph. 4:29-32, John 15:5-8, and Matt. 9:16-17. The sessions were presented in one-week intervals with assignments to personally apply the content between sessions. During the first phase of the project, its director researched the topic in order to provide content for a workshop intended to equip a selected group of Georgia Baptist pastors with revival preparation skills. The second phase included developing the workshop curriculum. The third phase was the implementation of the actual five-session workshop. Session 1 required two hours, and sessions 2 through 5 met for ninety minutes. The project director researched resources in the field of mentoring and youth culture and developed an annotated bibliography and a curriculum with the help of experts in the field of education. The director created the training curriculum used in a seven-session workshop with a selected group of adults who volunteered to serve as mentors at the request of student mentees. The curriculum for the workshop was developed with the guidance of professionals in the area of curriculum and instructional design.
