The project director researched the field of expository preaching in a multigenerational worship context. He conducted a generational demographic study of the congregation. He developed and delivered a series of expository sermons. To ensure improvement in expository preaching skills the project director submitted both poutlines and videos of sermon deliveries to experts in the fields of expository preaching and multigenerational worship for analysis. The worship planning team is responsible for the planning of of the large worship gatherings that involve the entire church. These gatherings have a tremendous impact on the life, direction, and momentum of Vaughn Forest Church. The project director used the strategy development model. The project director began by researching risk management and strategy formation. Upon completion of the research phase, the project director selected a risk management team and developed a three-session teaching curriculum designed to educate the team on risk management and strategy development. The result was a functioning team that focused on developing a risk management strategy to minimize risk for the First Baptist Church of Live Oak. The project director utilized the ministry skill enhancement model to design this project. The author researched the current understandings and models of collaboration for the purpose of developing a model of collaborative sermon preparation. Based on this research the author developed a multilevel approach to collaboration that included both face-to-face and online collaboration. The effectiveness of that model of sermon collaboration was studied by an AB study of six sermons developed by two teams. The research director researched the field of elder care and identified the best practices and developed materials to assist in the training of the selected participants. The director then used these materials to develop a four-session workshop whose subjects included: 'What is a caregiver?,' 'Suddenly you are a caregiver,' 'Encouraging spiritual growth,' and 'Creating a care plan.'
