The method of study includes biblical exegesis, literary research on medical findings, interview, survey, and workshops. The church has chosen to define the vocational call more in terms of function rather than its nature. Ministry that does not include a preaching element fits into the accepted categories of service in the church. However, this functional position undercuts the power of God's call to all and elevates clergy-related leadership as the more desired calling. Hence there is a need to ably and holistically evaluate the nature and not merely the function of the call. The focus of this project was to design a framework of Scripture, reason, experience, and tradition to clarify this process better assist those working through their sense of calling. It is hoped that under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, they will apply and exercise their calling to some aspect of full-time clergy or called laity ministry. The purpose of this project was to enhance the basic knowledge of the Bible and facilitate the spiritual growth of new believers through implementing a narrative Bible Study program at Calvary Korean Baptist Church in Los Gatos, California.  The ten-session course, designed and led by the project director, helped the participants gain an understanding of the main biblical principles. Planters easily overlook their own spiritual growth while helping others grow in Christlikeness.  For the spiritual health of these church planters and their church plants, a clear path to ongoing personal spiritual formation is needed.  To help planters in the Dakota Baptist Convention, a discipleship relationship has been designed to encourage their continuing spiritual formation.  Working with a more experienced disciple, the spiritual disciplines of contemplative prayer, Lectio Divina, and solitude and silence form the project's focus. Through a series of interviews and surveys, Presbyterian pastors in western Pennsylvania were studied to consider their attitudes toward and use of the biblical languages in preparing to preach. A study of scripture is undertaken to ascertain scripture's view of scripture and the relevance of this for the use of the biblical languages in preaching. The Reformation is considered as the most relevant period in theological history. The primary objective was to educate couples on eight dimensions of intimacy and measure the impact on satisfaction and commitment. It was hypothesized that after receiving the education, couples would report increases in intimacy, satisfaction, and commitment. A convenience sample of ten couples participated in a twelve week marital enrichment program. Results indicated that participating in the program increased marital satisfaction and strengthened commitment. ANOVA with a pretest, posttest, and waitlist design was used to compare the change in dependent variables in relation to the independent variable PREP. The test group compared to the control group showed moderate positive effect sizes for communication and conflict resolution skills. Regarding marital satisfaction and intimacy no statistically significant changes were noted.
