This thesis explains the need and the theological implications of pursuing and implementing. It proposes and tests a model for a dismissal process and then evaluates that model. The model proposed consists of a four stage process: discernment, negotiation, dismissal, and reception. The thesis is developed that the kingdom advances over the earth through the apostolic establishment of new kingdom communities, who function with a kingdom economics, i.e., kingdom outposts.  Kingdom outposts are the locus of R \u0026 D.  Haiti suffers extreme poverty in spite of decades of evangelism and conventional R \u0026 D. This is being undertaken to produce greater effectiveness in the preparation and training of new candidates. The agency's candidates are Christian professionals who are placed in very difficult fields. Increasing the effectiveness of pre-field selection and training will help insure long-term presence in these fields. An overview of biblical themes and a literature review found that there are many areas to identify and assess. The use of two survey instruments was employed to gather data from field leaders and workers. This thesis-project demonstrates that after a season of study, discussion and fellowship together, church leaders realize that working together in mission will enable them to do together what they could not do alone.  This thesis-project presents the process, procedures, and study guides used in leading three small membership churches in a six week study of the missional church. It examines the biblical definition of spiritual maturity and the call to make disciples.  In light of this call two congregational surveys were created and deployed. These challenges can include financial and health concerns, future living arrangements, final wishes, and discovering the ultimate value of one's life. Tragically however, widows, widowers, the never-married and divorcees are often left to contend with such issues alone. Meanwhile, they may have adult children who will also be deeply affected by these issues, and are able to help. But that help rarely comes. Instead silence, ignorance, and misunderstanding prevail between the generations regarding the realities that will impact them both.  This project is an examination of these issues and the reasons that prevent aging parents and their adult children from discussing them constructively.
