This research and development of an eight-week theology class for the church is framed in three hypotheses: (1) After this class, church members will have an increased knowledge and understanding of essential doctrines of the Christian faith, (2) After this class, church members will be able to communicate the essential doctrines of the Christian faith, and (3) After this class, church members will value theological understanding more than they did before the class. It includes the theological foundations for discipleship as well as the creative process of conveying said discipleship through creative language and visual tools.  The project addresses the linguistic challenge Christian Churches can experience as a result of generational and theological differences.  This project is a culmination of Westbrook Church's experience as it sought to create congregational minstry allignment by means of new metaphor that would expression the mission of the church found in Matthew 28:18-20. Barrier and facilitating factors were identified by combining themes from literature review and interviews of a convenience sample of 20 people from the population. From these factors, a survey was designed and disseminated. Data from the 89 respondents was analyzed by the researcher and Power to Change staff. A group study resource was developed focusing on one facilitating factor, 'take the initiative,' and it was pilot tested with a small group. The impact of this small project was assessed by interviewing the participants of a small group. This research project helped identify an inventory of what helps or hinders students connected to Power to Change to share the gospel with others. In order to do this, the project director researched sermons and created a sermon model. The project directory created eight part model sermons to his congregation during Sunday worship. A group of experts assessed the model sermons and their assessments were used to determine the sermons’ effect and reach. From the research and assessments the project director was able to find the key factors of sermon skills and made a plan to improve sermon skills. He also looked at the before and after of the congregation’s spiritual awareness to find changes and made that the focus of his results. Additional purposes of this project were to develop and accomplish project goals and professional goals to strengthen the project director’s curriculum development and professional leadership. The project director researched a wide range of sources to gain fundamental knowledge of biblical hospitality. Additional purposes of this project were to develop and accomplish project goals and professional goals to strengthen the project director’s strategy development and professional leadership. The project director researched local demographics and cultural dynamics of the Lakeview community to determine ministry tartes for multiethnic church growth. Existing models of churches that include all culture and ethnicities were then explored to determine best practices. The second objective was to develop a training curriculum to equip selected leaders with assimilation skills. The final objective was to equip selected leaders of Fellowship of Montgomery in essential assimilation skills. The project director enlisted several experts in various areas to evaluate goals. He employed assessment instruments, including pretest, posttest, rubrics, reports, and an annotated bibliography, to evaluate the product and outcomes.
