Can Jeonnong Methodist Church be established as a green community church that accepts the environmental crisis and responds to it as an essential issue of faith? And can this environmental practice become a valid tool for communicating with the church's surrounding region? Then will the church show a way to move forward as a village church? The three mission theologies discussed in this paper are suggested as methods to overcome this problem. The first is ecumenical mission theology. This theology is used as the perspective for looking at environmental and ecological problems. The second is 'Laudato si'', written by Pope Francis. The integrated ecology presented in 'Laudato si'' gives a deep insight into practical theology with a strong foundation in spiritual theology. The third is the village ministry theory, which has recently been spotlighted as a natural result of local ecumenism. Environmental faith inherently aims for recovery by using communication and harmony. Field observation, brief questionnaires, and small group conversations revealed reduced anxiety following these interventions. Reflections were informed by a study of the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15. Descriptions, acknowledgement and acceptance of clergy anxiety led to lower anxiety thus benefitting the congregation. Traditional practices including prayer, hymn-singing, and book study focused congregational energy and reduced anxiety. Appropriate use of gentle humor, learning about diversity, and appreciating diversity, reduced tension, thus defusing situations before they could explode. Many of existing church programs for older adults are no longer adequate or relevant for our graying congregations; consequently, there has been a growing need for a new model of senior adult ministry that can meet the diverse needs and expectations of older adults in an aged society. Inspired by the Rev. Dr. Gentzler's 'intentional ministry by, with, and for older adults,' and based on A. Maslow's theory of Hierarchy of Needs, the present paper has suggested a model of senior adult ministry shaped with the following three dimensions: ministry that provides a sense of belonging (community-oriented ministry), ministry that promotes a sense of usefulness (mission-and-service-oriented ministry), ministry that guides discovery of meaning and purpose (spirituality-oriented ministry). By applying this model of senior adult ministry, the present study has designed and implemented a project for boosting the integration of senior newcomers to the life of Korean Church of Atlanta UMC. Psychologically, they are considered `middle-aged.' In this paper, the author implemented a pastoral care program for middle-aged women in their forties and fifties under these circumstances to find out if the program helps them achieve spiritual maturity and restore their clear life direction and identity. The author conducted an eight-week small group pastoral care program entitled 'Healing Mom- A Mother Becomes a Woman' for middle-aged women in their forties and fifties in his church. The author proceeded the project as follows. The groundwork of the preparation of an educational program for the aged Christians and the methods of this paper were described in Introduction. In chapter 1, the author explained roughly the concept and history of Christians worldview. In chapter 2, the author explored the definition of 'aging' from social, biological, and psychological aspects while describing the existing issues of senescent life. The author tried to seek the potential meanings of 'aging' from a Christian perspective based on the Bible. Paul Stevens' understating of aging, Erikson's theory of development stage, John Westerhoff's theory of education, and Christian worldview rooted in Reformed theology were theoretical grounds used for the educational program of the aged Christians. Specially, four factors of Christians worldview - creation, fall, redemption, and consummation - became the main stages of the suggested educational program, 'Senior Worldview Training Retreat.'
