The author examined the meaning and importance of volunteer works from the Bible and history. In addition, the author studied John Wesley's movement of revival and his practice of love, and discussed the influence on personal and social holiness through it. Next, the author practiced a project called 'Diakonia Training School' for five weeks for ten members of Beautiful Church. All of the participants experienced many changes in their personal faith and the community of faith through the training. Having historical and theological observation, he proposed a new curriculum, which has the four-fold method of refinements that makes infant baptism meaningful: from a passive to an active motivation; from a nominal to a practical orientation; from short-term to long-term aims; and from a haphazard to a systematic infant baptism curriculum. One way for churches to help in Christian identity formation is through the practice of testimony, when members share their faith stories to encourage and nurture one another. This report briefly explores Christian identity formation in the twenty-first century along with the understanding of testimony in the Bible and church history. Then it details how one congregation has begun the practice of testimony, with members sharing faith stories in worship. The author used an evolving narrative to illustrate the benefits and challenges of co-pastoring in the local church. As an initial effort to examine co-pastoring as a leadership model at First United Methodist Church, Hershey, identified clearly is the understanding that without humility, respect, and trust a co-pastoring appointment will not succeed. The author created and tested four sessions of an arts and theology resource with an older adult ministry in a local church. The sessions centered on art, poetry, games, and drama and concluded with evaluative surveys from participants. Additionally, three participants completed an arts interview and the Daily Spiritual Experiences Scale. Ten husbands of female pastors in the House of God Church were identified to define their role as the 'first gentleman.' The methodology was approached from a pastoral counselor's perspective. Strategies of brief counseling theory (Stone, 2001) were used to develop survey and interview questions for the participants.
