Team vision, structure, management and accountability systems were lacking. A biblical unified teamwork model is the thesis outcome. Old and New Testament passages on teams and teamwork provided the foundation. Human resources, business, church and volunteer leadership literature complement the biblical study and theological reflection. Ethnographically oriented primary and secondary data culminated in sixty-three model recommendations. Recommendations for team structure, systems and maintaining healthy team relationships are addressed. Specific instructional materials considered in the project were from 'Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University.' Data was gathered, measured, and analyzed through the use of an identical survey tool administered both 'pre' and 'post' project. A questionnaire was disseminated and the results indicate that spiritual vitality is considered essential to doing the job of a Christian Navy Medicine chaplain.  The overwhelming majority of participants also indicated that practicing time management and self-care are extremely important. These adults constitute the leading edge of the Boomer generation (approximately ages 50 to 61) in transition to McGregor Baptist Church's Senior Adult Ministry. The project director's professional goals included research. The research focused on current resources, strategies, and insights available concerning the Boomer generation as it becomes a new wave in older adult ministry. The research helped to establish benchmarks and standards upon which to build. The project director also developed a strategy for ministry to emerging senior adults using a strategy team. In this project, an intertextual reading of the Song of Songs unfolds a beauty that is objective, that reveals the distance of delight between God and creation. This project examines the theological perspectives of Saint Augustine, Jonathan Edwards, and David Bentley Hart, all of who work toward trinitarian theologies of beauty. Boards of directors governing their sponsored ministries are charged with assuring their mission and spiritual heritage continues to permeate corporate life. This study contributes to illumining boards' collaborative participation in expressing charism through mission, as it affects their service, and sponsors' own understanding of their charism. Engaging practical theological methodology, it brings the charism and mission of one congregation into conversation with current board leadership literature and with contextual experience of boards.
