The results established certain commonalities in work-related personality characteristics among the research group, which aided in producing a 'pastor suitability profile' of personality characteristics judged significant for a job-fit with the pastoral ministry. A program consisting of sermons, Sunday school lessons, and hands-on experience in worship planning was used to accomplish the purpose.  The program caused the participants to analyze their attitudes toward congregational worship and its importance to their lives. The program included training lessons to equip a prayer group and activities to involve the church.  The historical method was used to gather data on the theology of prayer.  The descriptive survey method was used to gather data on prayer ministries and prayer for missions.  The director gave pretests and posttests to evaluate changes in the group's attitudes and changes in the church's behavior. The method of research used for this project was a combination of case study, analyzing Wooddale (parent church), Woodridge (new church) and Woodcrest (new church). The on-site evaluation method in the development of Woodcrest Church was used.
