Retention of data presented was measured by a ten-question test which was administered immediately following each sermon presented. Each test consisted of eight true or false and two multiple choice questions. Statistical t-tests were used to compare the mean score of the inductive and deductive sermon formats. The major hypothesis tested established the hypothesis and demonstrated that retention of data presented was greater when the inductive format was employed."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Denver Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e7af129f-938f-4821-9463-dc6ded35d563"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134101354315776,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:29:49.701Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:57:33Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:16:52Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"12e9354f-ad45-4a66-9412-691f0ec5fc7c","accessControl_ssim":["00a20f45-0a1c-4ebd-bc98-f219adc71c2d"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Measuring the level of trust in a mentoring program for leadership development in the local church"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:57:33Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:40:22Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["214f84f3-c440-48c0-9fea-da67de49341b"],"hasLease_ssim":["a1045f45-a40a-4500-8678-8b48315d3636"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Denver Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Lemuel C Schaffer"],"year_tesim":["1993"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Ralph P Mason"],"publisher_tesim":["Denver Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Leadership--Religious aspects--Christianity","Trust","Mentoring in church work"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This research hypothesized that the level of trust between the mentors and proteges in the treatment group would increase significantly more than the level of trust between the mentors and the control group in the bonding phase of a facilitated mentoring program for leadership development in a local church.
