They fail to show how the preaching of the Word has anything to do with going to work, raising a family, paying bills, or any of the myriad of problems that we face today. The question then is, what is relevant preaching?  A biblically relevant sermon is a sermon that meets needs by relating the principles of Scripture to the human condition. This project used active research in the form of questionnaires to elicit the response of the congregation to felt-need sermons. Measurement was gained from analysis of scores from identical pretest and posttest questionnaires.  The project realized change in an increased knowledge of human sexuality and an understanding of sexuality in the context of creation. Chapter 4 describes the implementation of the ministry project and the criteria that led the author to his conclusions. This project's goal was to present this design for families in an eleven-session intervention, thereby strengthening the family systems and their church.  The method of research included presentations, discussions, drama, and tests.  Conclusions were drawn from comparisons of pre- and posttests, which included scales for information and perception.  The results of the project were that while the knowledge about families increased significantly, the feelings about family changed less.
