The report discusses the importance of money in contemporary life, the teachings of Jesus regarding money, and the biblical and psychological impact of compassion. The theological implications of marriage as covenant are explored in order to give a solid rationale for expanding and intensifying the pastor's work with engaged couples. The report outlines how the 'Myers-Briggs Personality Type Inventory' has been helpful in promoting understanding between couples and how this basic tool can be incorporated into the process of pre-marital counseling. Biblical considerations dictate a moral approach, at least in explaining the initial process of becoming an alcoholic. Medical evidence indicates strongly the accuracy of a disease model. The conclusion is that the development of leaders is accomplished through teaching skills, sharing information , and a process of spiritual growth. In this study, the background of Korean immigration to Austrlia is discussed and the characteristics of Korean immigrants are discovered.  A specific research into the Korean community in the Brisbane metropolitan area is carried out identifying their basic problems and pressing needs.  In order to minister effectively, a theology of immigration is formulated and strategies are developed along the lines of the 'Sa-rang Bang' movement for self-actualization, the 'Chi-geh Koon' model of burden sharing and bilingual/bicultural ministry. The dissertation shows that even young children can learn much in corporate worship and will do so from symbols, symbolic action, through effective learnings, and through participation.  The dissertation begins with a section on the theology and 'theory' of worship. The congregations are described as liberal, conservative, fundamentalist protestant, and catholic.  The questionnaire revealed that these Christians are not as involved in sports as the general public.
