Using the Meyers-Briggs understanding of temperaments, preachers are challenged to take seriously the different ways people have of hearing sermons. Data from one Lutheran congregation, practical suggestions and a sermon for people of all temperaments are included. It is possible for preachers to speak so that people of all temperaments can hear."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["d722638c-a7e2-43f3-93ff-4762bde0dde7"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134072675762176,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:29:22.351Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T20:13:34Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:28:45Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"301b52b8-824d-4c3d-a623-2113a7b4cf56","accessControl_ssim":["2c1a7ae6-6dd1-4067-866d-0a09ee44f355"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Preaching as soul care with emphasis on the effects of style"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T20:13:34Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:31:57Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["3b2168f6-a02a-4fef-91ec-6cb97288d2dd"],"hasLease_ssim":["d456183c-9d29-4ee2-a574-fdc6d684b420"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["J Ellsworth Kalas"],"year_tesim":["2000"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Michael T Schlitter"],"publisher_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Expository preaching"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This study provides insight into the practice of preaching as soul care.
