Patients from Florida Hospital Family Health Center completed the Religiosity Coping Index. One of these ministries that the church is called to do is prison ministry. It is my wish to see the ministry of taking the Word of God to the prison system as a mandatory ministry of the church especially in the African American church. This ministry of the Word of God in the prisons must be in a pre- and post-ministry. The purpose was to find a culturally sensitive methodology which could be relevant to different cultural contexts. The model was implemented in two countries, Italy and the United States of America. In both cases, the methodology focused on the application of a narrative approach to the task of care. The theological foundation for the study is grounded in a trinitarian understanding of humankind as created in the image of God. To obtain the data, Ellison and Paloutzian's Spiritual Well-Being Scale (© 1982) was used in conjunction with a research-designed Attitudes Regarding Sexuality Questionnaire. Data were colllected from a convenient sample. Analysis of the results is limited by a small sample size. This will be done through an eight session, sixteen hour seminar. It will describe healthy anger and guilt, inform the class what unhealthy anger and guilt look like, then discuss the symptoms and consequences of living with unresolved anger and guilt. Interventions and Bible studies will be presented as ways to resolve these issues. A one year follow up was done with the seminar participants. The study determined the viability of a clinic and the degree to which the church assists working people unable to afford health benefits and care. It is concluded that churches have a leadership role in meeting the needs of the least and last. Preaching is an ethical issue.  How the pastor prepares, delivers, and conducts himself in preaching is vital to effective witness.  A survey of evangelical preaching discloses some troubling trends.  Propaganda, power, manipulation, and distortion devices are documented.  No doubt some of these are intentional, but some may be unintentional, yet nevertheless unethical.  A biblical model of persuasion is presented as an ethical code for the pulpit.  Emphasis lies upon examples found in NT preaching. The premise of this study is that the church, in its attempt to reach its community, must be prepared to embrace people from all cultures.  To accomplish that goal, the context was carefully studied, sources on cultural diversity were assembled for theological reflection, a methodology for a ministry project was devised, and a ministry project was undertaken, which was followed by a comprehensive evaluation of the ministry project.
