The design of the project included the administration of a quantitative and qualitative survey-questionnaire to be completed by the participants of the study.  Demographic questions addressed gender, age, and race. Using a quantified questionnaire-survey, this dissertation analyzes how church leaders view the existence of their churches and their relationship to the Great Commission.This dissertation finds that there firstly needs to be a change of mindset. When there is a breakthrough in ideas, practice will follow suit. The next part presents a blueprint and strategy designed for church leaders to follow, aiming at promoting mindset change. The blueprint includes the structure, system, and execution of discipleship training with suggested practical lesson plans.     In conclusion, one of Jesus’s purposes on earth was to spread the Gospel to all people. His disciples were not only followers, but also people changers whose own lives were transformed first. When we clearly identify the meaning and mission of the church’s existence, we will see that the primary responsibility of the pastor is to cultivate and train disciples. When Jesus began ministering in the first century, He established a disciple-making team that changed and transformed the world. The discovery process utilized survey questions designed to give input to the nine project goals.  The survey results revealed a significant degree of alignment. The most  prominent finding was in response to Goal #7, which was to discover how CBA church leaders understand missional outreach in relation to Christian discipleship. This thesis-project is an effort to propose a pastoral program to equip Church ministers for accompaniment. The author, mainly, uses the methodology of Richard Osmer’s as primary framework and, simultaneously, integrates a number of components from Poling and Miller to strengthen the performance of this thesis-project. In the process, this study, by conducting qualitative interviews of Church ministers, examines first, if the Church ministers are aware of the domestic violence situation, and then, what skills they may need in responding to this issue. As a result, this study acknowledges some insights from practical, socio-cultural, theological, and pastoral perspectives. The research not only offers a systematic approach for examining the relationship between biblical interpretation and spiritual growth in that congregation, it also explores how the African American cultural context of the members of the congregation guides the way they read the Bible and what role prejudice and discrimination against African Americans play in shaping the members’ interpretation of the Bible. Furthermore, the study attempted to suggest some sound and effective methods of communicating those discovered values, knowledge, skills, and educational leadership training to Capuchin friar school principals. Though Capuchin friars school principals succeeded in some aspects of school administration, they faced several challenges due to lack of educational leadership knowledge. Therefore, in the global culture where values, knowledge, and skills are rapidly changing it’s important for friars to attain an in-depth educational leadership knowledge.
