The first three items were the most effective in fostering spiritual life on campus. This was facilitated through a five-week small group experience in which adults studied Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter.  They then applied themes from those sermons to their life stories, and shared them in the group. Current trends, such as shorter hospital stays and pastoral staff reductions, impede such ministry.  Seven brochures entitled 'The Search,' 'Faith,' 'Hope,' 'Love,' 'Emotions,' 'Waiting' and 'Power' were developed to facilitate patients' spiritual growth during hospitalization.  The brochures, grounded in narrative and process theology, encourage patients to make their illness experiences part of their faith story.  Their value was tested and affirmed through written surveys completed by former patients and others. The sermon preparation process develops a synthetic outline, propositions (exegetical, theological and homiletical) for sermon portions and message outlines. The communication strategy designs sermons to persuasively preach elements of discipleship.  The spiritual journey evaluation measures congregational change in discipleship attitudes and actions.  The post-test assesses relative effects of other variables.  The congregation demonstrated increased discipleship, though the difference was not statistically significant. The project involved a series of four corporate worship sessions, and a personal devotional book written by the author of the project. Participants in the project completed a series of questionnaires to measure the project's effect. The thesis emphasizes the necessity of trained ministers to do pastoral work among the Assemblies churches of the Puerto Rico District. The author used questionnaires interviews and group work. Revitalization of an intern full time study program was the strategy selected. In cases where the strategy did not work out favorably, other alternatives were structured. Unitl recently, most Romanian Catholics were unaware of the post-conciliar renewal taking place in other parts of the world.  The project includes two parts.  The theoretical framework includes an examination of inculturation, an overview of contemporary catechesis, a contemporary understanding of the Romanian Church, and the socialization model. A researcher-designed survey was mailed to a simple random sample of revival participants, asking about nine aspects of their spiritual lives within the first 12 months of the revival and 25 years later.  Survey results showed that even 25 years later the Asbury Revival of 1970 continued to impact the lives of the Asbury College graduates who participated in the revival.
