Two models of leadership were selected for this project. The situational leadership model of Paul Hersey and Kenneth H Blanchard introduced the concept of adapting leadership styles to the needs of the individual student and the demands of the situation.  Ernest O White's model introduced the skills of planning and organization as theyrelate to leadership.  Nine supervisors were trained to implement the concepts and skills of this project.  The effects of this training was measured with questionnaires given to the students and the supervisors of the project group.  The students also answered the Occupational Roles Questionnaire (Osipow and Spokane). Initially 28 people wereinterviewed twice, subsequently 6 people were studied in depth.  The results confirmed a relationship between doubt causation and principal other in one's past.  The project explored the relationship between doubt types (rational, emotional and unconscious) and doubt causation. It includes a congregational survey, materials on recruitment and leadership training, promotion, monthly leader support, evaluation, and ongoing outreach to new persons.  Nine small groups were formed from support to study.  They were designed to run on a nine-month cycle with the option of disbanding, starting new groups, or reuniting in the fall. The dissertation describes the situational context and problem, theology of sacraments and baptism, educational theory, basic theological and educational assumptions and methods, educational program, culminating worship service, and evaluation.  The outcome of the program was a resounding success.  The theories and design were validated. The presentation ofmaterials was made from a feminist perspective, examining critical feminist issues.  Use of the model examined how the use of prayer and meditation can be used in pastoral counseling to develop a deepened spirituality through an individual faith journey.  A select group of women worked with the model which consisted of seven sessions. Following the experiment each was interviewed and an evaluation was used to determine its effectiveness. This study, then, is an attempt to study and understand the private use of four inward disciplines from the larger list of spiritual exercises.  This study focuses on silence and solitude, Bible study, meditation and prayer.  It is also an attempt to understand how each discipline can contribute to personal transformation. But we have understood Jesus' commandment as non-physical and spiritual.  Such misunderstanding produced unbalanced church programs in mission. Evangelism in foreign countries was understood as mission and internal mission to the poor was neglected by the church because it was regarded as social program.  In the Korean Tampa congregation, an attempt is made to develop the church's mission with poor people.  We appear to be happy and joyful within the boundaries of the church, and we close our eyes to what is outside of the boundaries. A hot meal service program for hungry people has been created.  It is not for church growth, but for the poor people because Jesus commanded us to feed the hungry.  We need to have mission through our hands and bodies.
