It was developed by Pastor Malaku Mekuria for the members of this church, so as to be effective and fruitful members of the body of Christ as they ministry in the church. Nine people from Maranatha Fellowship were trained for seven weeks in the subject of the discovery of spiritual gifts. The project took place over a period of 3 months between September and November of 2009. The director of the baptist Student Union trained one hundred thirty-two volunteers to conduct a children's basketball league for first through sixth grades children at Calvary Chapel Baptist Church in Parchman, Mississippi. Interdisciplinary archival study with philosophical, biblical, theological and missiological research methods are employed. Both the missio Dei and Christian missions take on new meanings from cosmic conflict paradigm. This study shows seven dimensions of Christian missions in correspondence with a sevenfold mission of Christ. The participants evaluated and deepened their understanding of worship and intentionality through group sessions and the use of workbooks. They also wrote, implemented and evaluated weekly action plans to give opportunity to practice intentionality in leading worship. Finally, participants were asked to commit themselves to continued intentionality in their worship leadership role. To achieve the goals for this project, the project director utilized an equipping module. The first phase of the project involved researching many different resources in the field of small groups and small group leadership skills. The project director utilized these resources to produce the lessons used to equip the selected group. The second phase was to develop a seminar, including lesson plans and a student workbook. The final phase of the project involved implementing the seminar for the initial training of the selected group. The seminar consisted of an introduction session, four lessons, a conclusion session and an implementation discussion. The seminar was conducted on four Sunday afternoons.
